What do we do with your data?
We use the personal data of employees, suppliers and creditors for financial transactions and other business activities. We retain your data only for so long as it is required for legitimate business purposes or as required by law.
We also provide IT support and business continuance services for our customers. If you want access to any personal information held in this capacity you must contact the controller of your data because only they have the authority to discuss the matter with you. The controller of the data is normally the company that you have a direct business relationship with.
When supporting our customers, we have the theoretical opportunity to view personal data on our customers system but we do not do so. Access to our clients system is only permitted to trained personal with the appropriate credentials. Our employees are aware of the importance we place on privacy and have been provided with a copy of our internal privacy policies which form part of our disciplinary code.
We act as an agent for companies that provide services to our clients. In effect they are a sub-processor of your personal information. We have taken reasonable steps to ensure that the sub processors adopt the same high standards that we do and have contractual relationships with them to ensure that your data is held in accordance with the GDPR regulations. However, our clients are ultimately responsible.
Where we are the processor of the information, we cannot provide information directly to you. You should contact the controller of information. The controller is the company with whom you have a direct relationship.
